Kibi is a productivity and habit-building application designed to help you achieve your personal goals through voluntary self-regulation. Our "Lock-in" feature allows you to block distracting apps on your own device to maintain focus and build better habits. You can customize blocking rules for morning focus sessions, evening wind-down periods, or weekend detox, and use achievement-based blocking where apps unlock after completing daily tasks. The app integrates with HealthKit to provide holistic wellness tracking, combining physical activity, mindfulness, and digital wellbeing into a unified experience.

3. Habit Coaching Data and Privacy

• Motivation preferences and behavior patterns you've established
• Shared plans and accountability notes within the habit-building experience

You have full control over your coaching data and can request deletion of your habit history at any time.

4. App Blocking and Screen Time Data

Kibi uses Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time API (on iOS devices) to provide app blocking functionality through our "Lock-in" feature. This section explains how we handle data related to app blocking:

• Individual Authorization Mode: We use Individual authorization mode only. You are authorizing Kibi to help you block your own apps—there is no parental control or third-party monitoring functionality. The blocking is self-directed and voluntary.
• No App Data Collection: Kibi does not collect, transmit, or store any information about which apps you have installed on your device, which apps you choose to block, or how you use them.
• On-Device Processing Only: All blocking configuration and app selection happens entirely on your device. The FamilyActivitySelection tokens used for blocking never leave your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
• No Analytics: We do not track or analyze app blocking patterns, usage duration, or circumvention attempts. We do not collect any analytics data related to your app blocking activities.
• User Control: You maintain full control over your blocking settings. You can view and modify your blocked app list at any time, and you can disable blocking immediately through the app.
• Transparent Authorization: We clearly request Family Controls authorization with explicit explanation of what will be blocked and why, ensuring you understand the feature before enabling it.

Our privacy-first approach means that all app blocking functionality operates entirely on your device without requiring server-side processing or data collection about your app usage. This ensures your privacy while providing the accountability features you need to build better habits and maintain focus.

5. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share your information with third parties in the following situations:

• Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing through Stripe and AI model providers.
• Legal Obligations: If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
